Multi-Currency & Multi-Language

Last updated: July 3, 2026

STOAR storefronts can show prices in a visitor's preferred currency and present the interface in multiple languages. Shoppers pick both from the footer.

Multi-Currency (Display) #

Visitors browse catalog prices converted to their chosen currency. Checkout always charges in the store's base currency — conversion is for display, so there's no payment-gateway reconfiguration and no rounding surprises at payment.

Setup (Admin → Settings → Currencies):

  • Enable the currencies you want to offer (USD, EUR, GBP, AUD ship ready).
  • Set each currency's exchange rate relative to your base currency. Rates are entered manually and you refresh them when you choose.

On the storefront: a currency selector in the footer sets the shopper's currency for the session. Product listings and product pages show converted prices; the cart and checkout show the base currency the customer will actually be charged.

Multi-Language (UI) #

The storefront interface ships in English, German, and French. A language selector in the footer switches the UI language for the session.

Coverage is complete across the storefront: navigation and search, product and category pages, cart and checkout, customer accounts, order tracking and invoices, wishlist, gift cards, newsletter and contact forms, and error pages — plus on-screen status messages, form validation, and transactional emails. Product and category names and descriptions are shown in the language they were entered in.
