Products, Categories, Reviews & Store Images

Admin → Catalog is where you manage the full product and category database, moderate customer reviews, and inspect your image library.
Products #
The Products list shows every product in your store with its name, SKU, price, status, and stock level. Use the search bar and filters to find products quickly.
Creating a product — click "New Product" and fill in:
- Name and SKU — used on the storefront and in order line items.
- Description — supports rich text.
- Price — the base selling price.
- Status — set to Active (visible in the store), Draft (hidden from shoppers, accessible by direct URL), or Inactive (fully hidden).
- Featured — tick this to include the product in featured product lists on the homepage.
- Tax Class — select the applicable tax class. Tax rates are configured under Admin → System.
- Category — assign the product to one or more categories.
- Images — upload one or more images. The first image is used as the product thumbnail.
Variants — on the product edit page, use the Variants section to define options such as size or colour. Each variant has its own price (optional override) and its own stock level. Variants are managed directly on the product page — you do not need to navigate away.
Editing a product — click any product row to open the edit form. All fields are editable. Save to publish changes immediately.
Categories #
Categories organise your products into a browsable tree. There is no limit to nesting depth — you can create subcategories inside subcategories as needed.
Creating a category — click "New Category" and fill in:
- Name and slug — the slug forms the category URL.
- Parent — choose a parent category to nest this one, or leave blank for a top-level category.
- Image — upload a category banner or thumbnail.
- SEO meta — set the page title and meta description for search engines.
- Status — Active or Inactive.
Managing products in a category — open any category and scroll to the Products section. Use the search box to find products by name or SKU, then click "Attach" to associate them with the category. Click "Detach" to remove a product from the category without deleting it from the store.
Reviews #
The Reviews list shows every review submitted by customers, including the product name, reviewer name, rating, review text, and submission date.
Moderating reviews — each review has a visibility toggle. Switch it off to hide a review from the storefront; switch it back on to make it visible again. No review is deleted — hidden reviews remain in the list and can be re-approved at any time.
Filtering — use the status and product filters at the top of the list to focus on pending approvals or reviews for a specific product.
Store Images #
Store Images is a registry of every image that has been uploaded or scanned across your store. It gives you a full picture of your image library without needing to open individual products or categories.
For each image the registry shows:
- The image preview and file path.
- Dimensions — width and height in pixels.
- File size — in KB or MB.
- Variants — automatically generated resized versions (140 px, 400 px, 800 px, and a mobile-optimised WebP) are listed alongside the original.
- Referenced by — which products, variants, or categories are currently using this image.
Use this page to audit your image library, identify large files, or check whether an image is still in use before removing it.
