The fine print

Terms & conditions

  1. Eligibility. The draw is open to active Australian-based online stores. One entry per store. Entries close June 30, 2026 (AEST). Winners will be notified by email no later than July 17, 2026.
  2. Selection. Three (3) stores will be selected at STOAR’s sole discretion based on fit, migration scope, and operational readiness. The decision is final and not open to correspondence.
  3. What the prize includes. A fully-managed migration to STOAR — products, categories, customers, order history, theme rebuild, 301 redirects, DNS & SSL cutover, and Stripe webhook validation. Migration is performed by STOAR engineers at no cost to the winning store.
  4. Migration timeline. The draw closes on June 30, 2026; the migration work itself does not need to be completed by EOFY. Project kick-off begins in early August 2026. A typical migration takes 4–8 weeks from kick-off, but larger or more complex stores (custom integrations, multi-store, >10,000 SKUs) may take longer. Each winner receives a tailored project plan with milestone dates after kick-off.
  5. Free plan period. The selected STOAR plan (Micro, Mini, Starter, Growth, or Scale — matched to the store’s catalog size) is provided free for 12 months from the go-live date (not the kick-off date). After 12 months, the standard monthly rate for that plan applies automatically unless the customer cancels in writing at least 14 days before the renewal date.
  6. Plan changes. Winners may upgrade to a larger plan during or after the free period at the difference in rates. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
  7. What is NOT included. Third-party fees (Stripe processing fees, domain registration, paid extensions or design assets not part of the standard STOAR theme), custom integrations beyond the standard migration scope, ongoing development work after go-live, and any costs associated with the source platform (early termination fees, exports, etc.).
  8. Cooperation. Winners agree to provide read-only access to their existing platform, approve theme drafts within 5 business days of delivery, and be available for go-live coordination. Stores that do not respond within 10 business days of winning forfeit the prize and a runner-up is selected.
  9. Publicity. Winners agree that STOAR may publish a short case study or social-media post mentioning the migration. Sensitive financial figures will never be published.
  10. Privacy. Entry data is used solely to evaluate and contact participants. Non-winning entries are deleted within 90 days of the draw closing. See our Privacy Policy for details.
  11. No cash alternative. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit toward any other STOAR plan or service.
